Ready, set, go... Back to school !!

The Eduki team is delighted to welcome you back to this new school year!

As you know, we are committed to our mission: to raise young people's awareness of global issues and enable them to meet the various actors in international cooperation in Geneva who are working for a better world. That said, we strongly believe that each and every school, teacher and student can promote peace, solidarity and sustainable development and thus play an important role in our mission.

Keep scrolling… Eduki Foundation and its partners are offering a wide range of activities for the 2024/2025 school year for students in Switzerland!!

As Switzerland's presidency of the UN Security Council starts in October 2024, discover the “Peace and the United Nations System” thematic dossier and its dedicated resources (in French, German and Italian).

The United Nations Organization (UNO) was created after a devastating conflict in 1945, with the mission of guaranteeing peace through collective security throughout the world. Today, many speak of a growing crisis in multilateral UN’s system, citing in particular the deadlock within the Security Council. Yet many organizations are committed to this peace project. Switzerland too has an important role to play in this system, given its mandate as a non-permanent member of the Security Council for the period 2023-2024.

To find out more about the workings of the UN and its various peace mechanisms...take a look at our resources and the activity booklet via the link below.

Discover the exhibition ‘Dialogues On Humanity’ at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum in Geneva. Our creative workshop helps pupils to critically examine global humanitarian issues. The workshop promotes emotional and human education.

Two workshop options to choose from:
1. Creative workshop: 1 hour
2. Creative workshop + museum visit (permanent exhibition): 2 hours

Practical information:

To mark the 100th anniversary of the Geneva Declaration of the Rights of the Child, Eduki Foundation is launching an outreach campaign on our social network, from September to December 2024.

The campaign's aim? To highlight children's rights through a symbolic initiative: the “Boîte d’Or”. This box already contains more than 50 messages from children on their rights, and many others will be collected from Swiss schools at the start of this school year.

Eduki is inviting several prominent figures to support this action by taking a photo with the “Boîte d’Or” and sharing children's messages. This simple but powerful gesture will help communicate their commitment to Rights of the Child.

We highly encourage teachers to participate by sending us messages from their students to fill the “Boîte d’Or” and make their voices heard. Contact us to find out more about how to submit your students' messages.

Join us in empowering the voice of youth!

Follow us on our social networks to make sure you don't miss out on this campaign.
