| Dear friends of the Festival Musica Antica a Magnano, To close the 40th edition of the Festival Musica Antica a Magnano, we invite you to discover three young and magnificent talents. During our traditional Concerto di Capodanno, the Ensemble Musica Antica Magnano, with Luca Taccardi, Georges Kiss and myself, is delighted to present violinists Carole and Estelle Champrétavy, as well as Nina Lecocq, recorder. Carole, 18, began her musical training at the age of 2 and continues it at the ‘Istituto Musicale Pareggiato della Valle d'Aosta – Conservatoire de la Vallée d'Aoste’ with Fabrizio Pavone. Her sister Estelle, aged 16, took her first music lessons accompanied by her parents when she was just two months old. She is currently studying with the same teacher as her sister. Both girls have been attending our summer courses for several years and you may have heard them perform as soloists and as part of the instrumental ensemble that accompanied Mozart's Missa Brevis this summer. Nina Lecocq, 25, studied with me for many years at the Conservatoire de l'Ouest Vaudois and then went on to study at the Haute école des Arts de Zurich, in Andreas Böhlen's class, where she obtained a Master's degree in performance with distinction. You can already book for this concert on our website. But you can also discover our 2026 program, as we are delighted to present our Easter concert and the 41st Festival. This will give you the opportunity to hear once again the musicians and ensembles we have come to love so much, as well as to discover three ensembles that will offer us a highly original approach to early music. Finally, on our website you will find all the information you need about our Easter courses, as well as our summer courses with their new features. On behalf of our chairwoman Thérèse Cuttelod, her committee, my entire team and myself, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Anastase Démétriadès, Artistic Director You can still order the book ‘40 anni di passione’ via our website. 🎼 Practical information Website: https://musicaanticamagnano.com Email: info@musicaanticamagnano.com Upcoming events: - New Year's Concert: 31 December 2025
