 Monte-Rosa 2024 workshop Dear all, What if one man could inspire thousands? Through our encounters with Céline and our latest films about nature, Damien Dekarz is one of the people who has touched us the most. This film tells the story of this modern-day “gardener,” who understood that the most beautiful harvest is that of shared knowledge. After leaving a job that no longer satisfied him, he turned his passion for nature into a mission: to teach everyone how to grow a vegetable garden or an food forest with as much autonomy as possible while respecting living things. His philosophy is simple: take care of the earth, take care of people, and share the riches. He does not define himself as perfect, but as a man who does his best. From his past as a market gardener to his role as an online educator, he proves to us that happiness is not a destination, but a path that we forge with humility, patience, and great generosity.
