Brief summary of the Competition's theme ...

What are the links between digital technology, society, and sustainability?
Here are two areas that your students can explore according to their interests and your educational context:
👥 Digital technology & society : Media literacy, mental health, hyperconnectivity, misinformation, human relationships, privacy, security...
🌱 Digital technology & sustainability : The ecological footprint of the web, e-waste, rare metals, digital sobriety, responsible innovation...
And a few examples of possible projects : Creating a participatory digital mural or charter for the school, a podcast on “young people & screens,” health and wellness activities... and find more info here.
Three categories, all forms of expressions are welcome !
🎨 Artistic work: visual arts, literature, performing arts, digital art
🎥 Media production: video report, short film, vox pop, podcast, website, video game
🌍 Concrete action: projects in the planning stage, in progress, or already completed within the last 12 months, with a tangible impact on your school, neighborhood, or region
Did you know that ... ?
💡 Projects that were not initially planned for the competition can also be submitted (e.g., phone-free week at school, exchange of experiences (benchmarking) with a partner school, interdisciplinary project developed over several years). 💡 The Françoise Demole Award is available to support (up to CHF 10,000) concrete actions in secondary II (upper secondary school students) that require support to implement innovative initiatives related to the theme of the competition.
An inclusive Competition open to all !
