We hope you are all doing well and looking forward to our upcoming adventures.

Here are the latest news and highlights from

The Grand 8 Sailors Circle and its Enola Sailing Project

Completion of Our Club Website

We are thrilled to announce the completion of our new website!

A huge thank you to our tireless webmaster, Dimitri, for countless sleepless nights making this possible. It is fully functional, will be regularly updated with new content, blog posts, and more. Dimitri is also working on its full translation in various languages. As our digital content manager, he will ramp up our social media presence and, as soon as SV Enola is back on water, hopefully shoot superb photos and videos to constantly share our adventures with you friends, members, partners and the public.

Publication of the 2025 Passages

We are excited to present the detailed publication of our 2025 passages. For each passage, you'll find all details such as route, important informations, prices and availability, logistics, etc.

The 2025 campaign will start in late July in Germany after the major ongoing refit of our vessel SV Enola, and will take us all the way from Barth in the Baltic Sea to Saint-George's in Grenada by mid-December.

Look forward to island hopping, coastal navigation, whales spotting, ocean voyages, an all women's passage, and four long RYA qualifying passages.

For all the details, visit our Passages and 2025 Passages pages.

Refit of SV Enola in Barth

Our vessel is currently undergoing a comprehensive refit at a shipyard in Barth, Germany. This includes the renewal of the standing rigging, electrical and electronic systems, parts of the interior, and the safety equipment. These upgrades are crucial to ensure that SV Enola is fully prepared for the upcoming passages, and to offer our members beautiful sailing in great safety.

Skipper Updates

While SV Enola awaits a new top, our skippers are busy with their own adventures. Gregory is currently delivering a 70ft catamaran from Barcelona to Cape Verde, and will then fly across the Atlantic to sail another yacht back to Europe. Becca and Morgan are also at sea, while Steffen is spending his time in the office, meticulously planning and following the refit, and setting up partnerships, with a special focus on the scientific community and organisations that have ocean's protection at heart.

Support Our Mission

As always, there are many ways to support our club and our activities for the oceans and wildlife. Become a member and check out how you can support our activities and future missions and expeditions here:
