ENSEMBLE INSTRUMENTUM VOCALE

Cari amici del Festival Musica Antica a Magnano,

Anche se la nostra 41ª edizione si è conclusa ormai da qualche settimana, continuiamo a ricordare con piacere i bellissimi momenti musicali che ci ha regalato.

Dopo aver ammirato per la seconda volta le interpretazioni, piene di raffinatezza, dei cinque giovani musicisti dell’Ensemble Instrumentum Vocale, siamo passati da una scoperta all’altra. Prima il matrimonio tra la musica francese dell’epoca di Versailles e quella cinese grazie all’Ensemble Mirum Musicis, poi la musica italiana del XVI e XVII secolo interpretata dai cinque cantanti e strumentisti dell’Ensemble Concerto di Margherita. Ancora una volta il magnifico organo Bruna della Chiesa Parrocchiale ha offerto a Gianluca Cagnani l’occasione non solo di incantarci in particolare con la sua improvvisazione sul tema de «La Follia», ma anche di farci scoprire e apprezzare la bellissima voce del soprano Giulia Ghirardello. Infine, dopo aver tenuto il loro primo concerto nella Chiesa Parrocchiale a causa dei capricci del tempo, l’Ensemble Alta Bellezza ha chiuso il Festival con il suono di pifferi, cornamuse, busine, tromba a coulisse e trombone dal Ricetto di Magnano.

Siete stati più di 2'000 a partecipare ai nostri concerti, compreso quello tenuto dai partecipanti al nostro corso estivo, con la seconda parte dedicata a estratti dal “Messia” di Händel. Thérèse Cuttelod, presidente, il suo Comitato e tutto il mio team si uniscono a me nel rivolgervi i nostri più calorosi ringraziamenti per la vostra fedeltà.

Gli appuntamenti sono già fissati per il nostro concerto di Capodanno, quello di Pasqua e per la 42ª edizione, che si terrà dal 30 luglio al 28 agosto 2027, con un programma già definito che verrà reso noto a dicembre.

ENSEMBLE CONCERTO DI MARGHERITA

Dear friends of the Festival Musica Antica a Magnano,

Although our 41st festival finished a few weeks ago, we are still thinking back on the wonderful musical moments it gave us.

Having marveled for the second time at the exquisitely refined performances of the five young musicians from the Ensemble Instrumentum Vocale, we moved from one discovery to the other. First, the fusion of French music from the Versailles era with Chinese music, courtesy of the Ensemble Mirum Musicis, followed by 16th- and 17th-century Italian music performed by the five singers—who are also instrumentalists—of the Ensemble Concerto di Margherita. Once again, the magnificent Bruna organ at the Parrocchiale provided an opportunity for Gianluca Cagnani not only to delight us, particularly with his improvisation on the theme of *La Follia*, but also to introduce us to and help us appreciate the beautiful voice of the soprano Giulia Ghirardello. Finally, having given their first concert at the Parrocchiale due to the vagaries of the weather, the Ensemble Alta Bellezza brought the Festival to a close with the sounds of shawms, bagpipes, busines, slide trumpets and trombones from the Ricetto in Magnano.

More than 2,000 of you attended our concerts, including the one given by the participants in our summer course, which was followed by excerpts from Handel’s Messiah. Thérèse Cuttelod, President, her committee and my entire team join me in extending our warmest thanks to you for your loyalty.

We already have appointments for our New Year’s concert, our Easter concert and the 42nd edition, running from 30 July to 28 August 2027, with the program already finalized and due to be unveiled in December.

ENSEMBLE ALTA BELLEZZA

Chères amies, chers amis du Festival Musica Antica a Magnano,

Même si notre 41e édition est terminée depuis quelques semaines, nous continuons à avoir en tête les beaux moments musicaux qu’elle nous a offert.

Après avoir admiré pour la deuxième fois les interprétations, tout en finesse, des cinq jeunes musiciens de l’Ensemble Instrumentum Vocale, nous avons passée de découverte à découverte. D’abord le mariage de la musique française de temps de Versailles avec la musique chinoise grâce à l’Ensemble Mirum Musicis, puis la musique italienne des 16ème et 17ème siècle par les cinq chanteurs et en même temps instrumentistes de l’Ensemble Concerto di Margherita. Une fois de plus le magnifique orgue Bruna de la Chiesa Porrochiale a offert l’occasion à Gianluca Cagnani, non seulement de nous ravir notamment par son improvisation sur le thème de La Follia, mais aussi de nous faire découvrir et apprécier la très belle voix de la soprano Giulia Ghirardello. Enfin et après avoir donné leur premier concert à la Parrocchiale en raison des caprices du temps, l’Ensemble Alta Bellezza a clôturé le Festival au son des chalumeaux, cornemuses, busines, trompette à coulisse et trombone depuis le Ricetto de Magnano. 

Vous avez été plus de 2'000 à assister à nos concerts y compris à celui donné par les participants de notre cours d’été avec en deuxième partie les extraits du Messie de Haendel. Thérèse Cuttelod, présidente, son Comité et toute mon équipe se joignent à moi pour vous adresser nos plus chaleureux remerciements pour votre fidélité.

Rendez-vous est déjà pris pour notre concert de Capodanno, celui de Pâques de même que pour la 42e édition du 30 juillet au 28 août 2027, avec le programme déjà établi, qui sera dévoilé en décembre.
