Paediatric orthopaedic observership in Kurgan, Russia

In our latest EPOS Member Voices article, Prof. Dmitry Popkov shares his experience of hosting Dr. Ahmet Sinan Sarı from Turkey for a week-long EPOS Observership at the Ilizarov Center in Kurgan, Russia.

Dr. Ahmet Sinan Sarı shared the following feedback about his observership:

I truly enjoyed every moment of the observership. The educational quality, surgical experience, academic environment, and hospitality were excellent. Working with Prof. Popkov and Prof. Leoncuk in the operating room was a great honour, and this observership gave me a much better understanding of the principles of deformity correction and the Ilizarov method. Overall, I highly recommend this observership to all EPOS members. Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity.

Paid fellowships provide young orthopaedic surgeons with the opportunity to train for one year in a renowned orthopaedic department.

EPOS BAT Advanced Course: Rare Bone Diseases

This course provides an up-to-date and clinically focused overview of rare bone diseases, encompassing advances in classification, epidemiology, molecular diagnostics, imaging interpretation, and therapeutic innovation.

CME Credits

This course has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 10 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).
