ERN Bond Survey published in JCO

The European Reference Network on Rare Bone Diseases (ERN BOND) have published the results of their survey on clinical decision-making in rare bone diseases, developed in collaboration with members of EPOS.

According to ERN Bond, this first-of-its-kind survey across 35 countries "highlights the variability in clinical practice, the urgent need for standardised interdisciplinary care, and critical gaps such as limited registry access and transition protocols. These findings are an important step toward building harmonised frameworks and improving care for people living with rare and ultra-rare bone diseases."

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this important survey. You can read the full publication Clinical decision-making in rare bone diseases – A survey among members of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS) and the European Reference Network on Rare Bone Diseases (ERN BOND) now in the Journal of Children's Orthopeadics.
