Celebrating 45 years of EPOS

From the inaugural EPOS meeting in Paris in 1981 that brought together just 13 surgeons, to a global community with almost 800 members, all dedicated to enhancing the quality of care for children worldwide: EPOS is a corner stone of paediatric orthopaedics in Europe and beyond.

This year is particularly special as EPOS celebrates its 45th anniversary. To mark the occasion, Darius Rad invited past presidents Pierre Lascombes and Hakan Ömeroğlu on the EPOS Podcast to chat about the origins of our society, the evolution of its educational programme and BAT courses, and the role EPOS plays in nurturing friendship and community among paediatric orthopaedic surgeons across Europe and beyond.
