EPOS Research Grants awarded

We are delighted to announce the winners of the 2025 EPOS Grant Programme:

  • Jan-Duedal Rölfing (Denmark)
    Evaluation of a Technique for Permanent Epiphysealysis in a Porcine Model: A Controlled Pilot Animal Study
    – EPOS Research Grant (€7,000)

  • Marco Turati (Italy)
    Evaluation of Hoffa Fat Pad Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Biochemical Parameters in Skeletally Immature Patients after Traumatic Knee Injuries: A Preliminary Study
    – EPOS Small Grant (€2,000)

  • Jaap Tolk (The Netherlands)
    Sonographic Tissue Evaluation of Bone Regenerate in Children Undergoing Limb Lengthening: The STRETCH Study
    – EPOS Small Grant (€2,000)

After a thorough evaluation process, these research proposals obtained the highest scientific scores in the Scientific Committee review, based on scientific quality, originality, feasibility, and the likelihood of successful completion and publication. Congratulations to all the winners.

The latest issue of the Journal of Children's Orthopaedics is now available. In this issue, read about:

EPOS 2026: Normal registration ending soon

If you've not yet registered for EPOS 2026, now is a good time before registration fees go up at the beginning of March.

A stellar scientific programme

A joint meeting with Asia-Pacific Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (APPOS), EPOS 2026 will feature invited lectures, study group sessions, free paper sessions, and industry symposia.
